Thinking Cube - Oxford
A platonic timber cube, created for a polymath, a maverick, and maker, this bespoke sanctuary carves out a place for thinking within a quiet woodland setting.
A Home For An Art Collector
Nestled near Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, North Oxfordshire, lies a secluded haven of tall grasses, young saplings, and majestic oaks. In this tranquil landscape, an art collector has entrusted us with designing a home that floats above a sea of wild grasses. The home is thoughtfully positioned among the existing trees, creating a series of outdoor rooms that feel both intimate and expansive. Artworks are displayed along suspended pathways. These internal walkways connect different spaces within the residence and extend into the natural landscape. By deconstructing the typical residential program, we have crafted a series of liminal spaces that seamlessly blend our client’s internal existence with the natural world.

House of Luz - Sintra, Portugal
House of Luz, Portugal - Dusk / Plan The House of Luz seeks to explore the fundamental truth of living in a machine of light and shade while tempering the effects of climate on everyday life. We envision a building of mathematical simplicity, with its symmetry governed by the angles and incidences of sunlight and the golden ratio. This results in a captivating and deceptively simple plan, fostering a harmonious and meditative living experience for our clients.
