Homemade laundry detergent with downy unstoppables. I added in oxy clean..
Homemade laundry detergent with downy unstoppables! - Im going to try this one. I tried the liquid DIY detergent and Im not a huge fan. So wish me luck! UPDATE!!! I so love this laundry detergent! I will never go back to brand name again. I made this in early October and I still have more than half left. It probably wont last me a year like the recipe says, but it still beats $15 a month for Brand name detergent. I HIGHLY suggest using downy unstoppables. It smells super good! by Seriously?

How to deep clean your slow cooker, the healthy way!Fill crock pot with water to just above ring of crud. Add 1 cup white vinegar. Slowly add about one cup of baking soda. May need to do spoonfuls at a time as it should bubble and foam. Turn on crockpot on low for 4 hours. At the end of each hour, take a scrubbing brush with handle and scrub down sides. Water will start to look cruddy, but that's ok. Should scrub 4 times. At the end, it should be clean and just wash thoroughly.

cleaning oven door between glass
How to Clean between Oven Glass - He took a bottle type brush (with a longer handle) sprayed a sock with windex, took the oven drawer out of the oven and layed on the floor. In the bottom of the oven door there are holes that he shoved the wand up into and voila the mess is all cleaned up. This can be done several times to wind up with a clear finish. -at the bottom of the door when you take out the drawer, is some holes and I just used a Dryer vent brush and wet a hand towel (wraped around the towel) and stuck it up the hole between the glass and it took the streak away with one stroke.

DIY Chalkboard Paint. Martha Stewart's recipe for homemade chalk board paint in any color.
HOMEMADE CHALKBOARD PAINT. This recipe is super easy and only requires two ingredients…paint (of any color or type) and some Non-Sanded Tile Grout. I found mine at Home Depot for $4 and some change (can’t remember exactly). But you can find the grout at any home improvement store. Then you will need to simply mix 1 cup of paint and 2 Tablespoons of grout. That’s it! Just make sure to stir it really well so that there are no lumps. You can use any paint. Paint for plastics or acrylic paint or house paint. *****You have to use flat paint. *****If there is any gloss to the paint at all, let the paint dry on the object and then go at it with a very fine sandpaper to knock the gloss off. ** Also remember to rub a piece of chalk all over the board to prime it for chalk before using.** If a damp cloth is causing the paint to come off completely, then you used water based paint. Latex paint will also have a tendency to peel off smooth surfaces like glass. I would etch the surface of the glass to be painted. The etching will toughen the smooth surface so that the paint has something to hold on to. For anyone wanting to paint a large area, like a wall or a child’s room, this would be 2 cups non sanded grout to 1 gallon of paint. You can also use any color of paint. How fun is that? There are so many possibilities and price is now no longer a factor! You could paint a whole room in chalk board paint! Your kids would think you were da bomb!
