Margaret Tudor (28 November 1489 – 18 October 1541). In 1503, she married James IV, King of Scots who died in 1513 and their son became King James V. Through her 1° & 2° marriages, Margaret was the grandmother of Mary, Queen of Scots, and Mary's 2° husband Lord Darnley. Margaret's marriage to James IV foreshadowed the Union of the Crowns - King James VI of Scotland, the child of Mary and Darnley, became King of England and Ireland on the death of Margaret's niece, Elizabeth I of England.
