When sending a copy of a project to a client, you may want to protect the file, so that it requires a password to print or edit. This will prevent your client from using it before you get paid!To protect your file save it as a PDF (File > Save As... and choose Photoshop PDF). In the Save PDF dialog box, Click "Security" and under "Permissions", you can enter a password to prevent printing, and editing.You can view the files in Acrobat, but you won't be able to print it or copy it.
Photoshop allows you to save an HTML file that contains a list of all keyboard shortcuts, even the custom shortcuts that you have set. You can view that file on your browser or you can print it.To save this HTML file, open the Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus panel by pressing Ctrl Alt Shift K (Mac: Command Option Shift K). Then under the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, press the "Summarize" button and select a location and name for your file, and press save.
Use The Note Tool For Passing Instructions To Others
If you’re working with multiple people on the same Photoshop file, use the Note tool (Nested under the Eyedropper tool.) to pass instructions to others. Select the tool, and click anywhere on your image. This will create a “Post-It” style note.
It’s always a good idea to copyright your work and a good way of doing so, is to embed your copyright information into your image metadata. To do so, Press Ctrl Alt Shift I (Mac: Command Option Shift I) or go to File > File Info... to bring up the File Info panel. Then click on the "Description" tab and enter your copyright information on the appropriate fields.
An easy technique to give great contrast to an image is to create a new Channel Mixer adjustment layer and in the properties panel, choose Black and White With Red Filter from the preset drop-down. Change the adjustment layer's blending mode to Soft Light, and decrease the opacity accordingly.
