Wheat Field Redo, oil on paper. This is my 213th oil painting, and around one year and 100ish paintings ago, I tried this exact same portrait. I had some issues with the original, so it seemed like a good candidate for a redo to see if I could improve on it. I actually ended up making some of the same mistakes!
