Rye, East Sussex is one of England’s most picturesque towns. It’s full of medieval history and architecture, beautiful scenery, and endless charm. It’s perfect for a quiet getaway - just an hour on the train from St. Pancras Station in London. Mermaid Street and The Mermaid Inn are worth the visit alone.
