Morning.. so it's another day of teasers for Clearly Besotted and today I thought I would make something a little different with one of the sets... Simply Quilled! How cute is this little guy? Obviously inspired by a certain children's book ... This set is perfect for making up little creatures!! I have also used the sentiment from the flights of fancy set! SO cute and easy! The caterpillar involves mostly just snipping the corners off of pre-cut squares to form the circles that make the head and body pieces. The legs and antennae are pre-cut for the children! Then glue it together and draw a fun face!
CL.L.p3.2: Uses pictures and illustrations to tell and retell parts of a story. This is developmentally appropriate as the children are allowed to make their own caterpillar, helping to support their creative development. They can use their caterpillar to help tell and retell parts of the story from the book that the caterpillar character originally came from.
