When you weight train, you use your anaerobic system in your body. Your anaerobic system is fueled by carbs.

‼️If you do cardio before you train, it will deplete some of your energy (carbs, specifically). 

❤️What does this mean? Well, the amount of effort in which you are able to put into your training sessions is a direct correlation of how well you will grow any muscle mass. If you are tired and fatigued from your cardio session before you start - you will not be able to put in maximal effort = less muscle gain. 

Think about it like this: if you complete your cardio before you train - how will you feel after? Will you be tired?
