I’m frequently asked to share how I cover the switch plates and outlet receptacle covers when I wallpaper. Spray adhesive! I coat the plate generously and then put it back in place (without the screws). Then I place the wallpaper over it, lining it up with the pattern. Smooth it to the plate, flip it over, and cut out the holes for the toggles with a razor. After all the hard work and expense of wallpapering the room, don’t skip this last step!
