#Krishna #Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Krishna, and is celebrated differently across India. While elaborate dramas and plays are the norm in Mathura and Vrindavan, people from Odisha and Bengal usually fast the previous day. In Tamil Nadu, beautiful kolams are created and a young boy is often dressed up as Krishna. However, the most enthusiastic celebrations are probably in #Maharashtra, with young men climbing atop human pyramids to break the hanging pot full of buttermilk!
