To keep the public safe, police officers risk everything. Although serving others is a career that can lead to a lot of authority and respect, not everyone is suited for it.

Academy instructors are using CrossFit to whip police recruits into shape. How well did it work? Each recruit lost an average of 6.4% body fat, could do 16 more push ups and ran 1.5 miles about 1:46 faster after the training.
