A "Rainbow Baby" is a baby that is born after a miscarriage or still birth. It is understood that the beauty of a rainbow does not reverse the void that any storm left. When a rainbow appears it doesn't mean that the storm never happened or that we aren't still dealing with the storm's aftermath.
