Gods and divine beings are usually portrayed as existences who understand, take care of, and sometimes punish the normal people. On the other hand, Rama seemed like a character that easily influenced by others’ opinions, is not truly wise as other gods in other stories, and seems rather selfish in my personal opinion. Rama’s divinity is depicted through his blue skin; a color that is different from everyone else. Blue is the color of the sea and sky, and tends to signify depth and stability.
