Back in 2016 we came across a blue Volkswagen van in Portugal. We took a picture and posted it on Instagram with the caption: “One day…”. I dreamed about a surf road trip through Europe for a long time. Doing it in a Volkswagen camper van was definitely high up on the bucket list.
