If you are unfamiliar with Silog it is essentially garlic fried rice, a fried egg and some sort of protein. Beef tapa is essentially a cured beef which is where the name tapa comes from which means either preserved, smoked or cured. Silogs are often eaten for breakfast (good way to utilize leftovers) but honestly it’s so damn good and filling you can eat it any time of day. What’s your favorite Silog? 🇵🇭

Beef Tapa marinade:
-1/2 lb thinly sliced beef (I used flank) 
-1.5 Tbs soy sauce 
-1.5 Tbs vinegar
-1/2 Tbs sugar
-2 Tbs minced garlic
-1Tbs neutral oil + 1.5Tbs for pan frying
-Black pepper to taste
-Pinch salt
