This pizza-like, thin, round dish, topped with herbs and minced meat (also known as Turkish Pizza, Lahmajun and Lahmajoon) is very famous in Turkey. In fact, that’s how I first found it. My first visit to Turkey with my schoolmates left a lot of pleasant memories.

Turkish Pide or Turkish Flatbread is a boat-shaped pastry similar to a pizza, commonly served in Turkey! It's often loaded with a ground beef, sausage, shredded cheese, roasted red peppers or mixed vegetables. Perfect as a main course or an appetizer!

This oval-shaped flatbread topped with spicy lamb or beef mince is Turkey’s take on pizza. Originating in the country’s south-east province of Gaziantep, it’s topped with salad or pickles and lemon juice, then rolled up and eaten on the go.
