Group IMPACT Award, 3rd Place - IDS Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. Over 90% of students in Dallas Independent School District schools are on free or reduced lunch plans, and many only eat while they are at school. The IDS Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter wanted to make a positive impact in their lives by partnering with Feeding Children Everywhere who had an established model to accomplish this.
Group IMPACT Award, 2nd Place - IDS Naples Chapter. The IDS Naples Chapter couldn’t believe that most of the Habitat homeowners could not envision themselves living in a home, or that they were even worthy of home ownership. We heard stories of how the homeowners would hang photos high up on the wall because they didn’t want anything to happen to their most valuable possessions. Group IMPACT Award, 1st Place - IDS Chicago Chapter. The Chicago Chapter chose Little Angels, a loving residence for children and young adults with severe disabilities, because this facility provides the most important aspects that make a home – love, care and support. Everyone here deserves a pick-me-up and the makeover impacted the kids, their families and the staff.
