Lamp store at Grand Bazaar, Istanbul, Turkey. The Grand Bazaar (Turkish: Kapalıçarşı) in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily.
A superb example of gothic architecture, Sainte-Chapelle is located on the île de la cite. The upper chapel of the Sainte Chapelle, shown in the picture, was built between 1242 and 1248 by King Louis IX, and restored by Eugène Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century. It is renowned for its numerous floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows.
