5 large apples peeled, diced 2/3cup brown sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 2¼ cups Caramel Apple or Sugar cookie mix 1 c unsalted butter, melted 15 soft caramels cut in half In a large pan over medium heat add apples, sugar, & lemon juice. Let it cook down until apples are tender. Grease a 9x13 pan. Add the caramel pieces to the apples and pour into the dish. Sprinkle cookie mix over the top. Pour melted butter over the cookie mix. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until top is golden.
