Believe it or not, the NY home below was built as a library in 1915. It was basically one big space of 1,500-square-feet. The owner did a massive renovation to create a gorgeous home; I'm loving all the dark details: In an homage to the old library, rolling ladders were added to the kitchen cabinetry.
