Words of Light

A picture is worth more than a thousand words. An image is more than simple outlines, textures and colours, and can reach us in ways that words cannot. Lighting and affiliated expressions are words that connect to us in ways that go beyond our dictionary and are perhaps best understood visually. My challenge here is to post images I feel best communicate words of Light.

Scintillate
#Scintillate – subtle or soft moving sparkles of light. An image is worth more than a thousand words. A picture is more than simple outlines, textures and colours, and can reach us in a manner that words cannot. Lighting and affiliated expressions are words that connect to us in ways that go beyond our dictionary. My challenge here is to post images I feel can best communicate words of Light.

Amber Light
a term typically used within the lighting communities to refer to white light of colour temperatures below 1850 ºK (kelvin). The term is used loosely to refer to white light that is warmer than a candle flame, but also to refer to colours that border beyond the warmer side of the black-body radiation scale limits and are tinted with tones of yellow, orange and red.
