Spruce Up Shelves I don't like what is used here, but I have painted the back of shelves before and what a difference it makes! I may try the contact paper idea on the shelves of my entertainment center, it a very dark wood and unless the objects displayed are white, they disappear...Just have to find some cool contact paper or even wall paper scraps...

Update with Paint Love this idea for painting my dining room table, this is almost exactly what my table looks like and I LOVE this blue!
