Le Grand Van Gogh statue by Bruno Catalano, Saint-Paul de Vence, France
"In Search Of Misssing Pieces" Bruno Catalano, NOT EXACTLY STREET ART, BUT A NICE PIECE OF ART IN THE STREET, OR IN THE NATURE...
Brilliant use of negative space by Bruno Catalano. This statue was created by Bruno Catalano, it is located in France. | See More Pictures
For the 18th day of Advent... Bruno Catalano, Le Grand Van Gogh, bronze. Admiring art since his youth, Bruno Catalano began his career as a sculptor with a remarkable talent in 1990, his sculptures reveal a real desire to present a unique style and to capture the viewer’s attention. The French artist who born in 1960 in southern France, works in bronze sculpture with a reoccurring motif. His figures are always lacking mid sections, and seem to be eerily suspended in mid air.

This optical illusion is a work by Japanese artist Makoto Aida titled AZEMICHI (a path between rice fields). Business Week says that this acrylic painting is a parody of the best-known work of Kaii Higashiyama, a major figure in Japanese modern painting. Makoto Aida was at a loss what to do after graduating from a prestigious art college in 1991 and took nearly a year to paint this picture.

Luxurious Jewelry Made of Paper - My Modern Metropolis: "What is the value of a beautifully crafted gem? What is its worth if it's made of paper? Paper sculptor Kirsten Hassenfeld explores the fantasy-driven world of opulent extravagance through her handcrafted paper jewelry. Using translucent white paper, the artist forms intricately designed polygons that resemble brilliantly cut gemstones. As for how she goes about constructing the pieces, Hassenfeld admits that the art is..."

An abundance of translucent paper was used in Suite by Kirsten Hassenfeld. They were laboriously cut and glued together to form intricately designed polygons. Strung along together and draped from the ceiling, the stunning shapes create large strands of necklace-like paper sculptures.

Urban Cityscapes Spray Painted on Cardboard Panels by German Street Artist EVOL - The new works feature urban facades spray painted with the use of stencils on flat sheets of cardboard. Much like his outdoor graffiti, these stencils display an uncanny attention to detail, depicting light and shadow that transforms mundane surfaces of consumer packaging into fascinating, seemingly multi-dimensional pieces of art. #Art #Painting #StreetArt

James Nizam Work from Trace Heavens “The large black and white photographs depict the transformation of darkened rooms into uncanny light sculptures that intersect elegant geometry with math-class daydreaming. Bridling sunlight into streamlined rays via perforated and sliced walls, and with the aid of artificial fog to intensify the slants of light, Nizam creates imagery that might bend our perception of photography.
