This is on my bookshelf in my living room by the t.v. A great reminder that the book is always going to be better because it inspires your own imagination to create. I still refuse to watch "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" movies until I finish all the books.

Excellent advice! Remember the episode of "Seinfeld" where George tries to impress his GF by joining her book club? He skips reading "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and tries to cram for the next day's meeting by watching the movie. Oooops!

The Napping House by Audrey Wood, Illustrated by Don Wood - Concept Book: Sequencing. This book is INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite children's books of all time. I have used it in a lesson this semester (thanks Dr. Johnson!). It can be used in Kindergarten, but is recommended for 3rd. It is great for teaching special needs.
