This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper. Judd Foxman is thrown together with his dysfunctional family when his father dies, while at the same time coping with his wife's infidelity and the end of his marriage.
Great read! This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper. A dysfunctional family must come together for 7 days to sit shiva for their recently deceased father. The novel is both hilarious and poignant, with (mostly) relatable character types and situations.
This is where I leave you / Jonathan Tropper. Judd Foxman's wife, Jen, has left him for his boss, but after the death of his father and a week of sitting shivah with his enjoyably dysfunctional family presided over by their mother, a celebrated parenting expert despite her children's difficulties, the mourning period brings each of the family members to unexpected epiphanies about their own lives and each other.
This is quite possibly my favorite book. This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper
