5 great real food snacks for when the cravings hit!
Banana Fro-YO!!!! Take 2-3 frozen bananas (cut them up and freeze them in ziplock bags or in tupperware) throw them in your food processor. Then turn the processor on and let it run for about five minutes, stopping every now and then to scrape it down. The bananas should get increasingly light, fluffy, and smooth. By the time you’re done, they’ll resemble a creamy bowl of soft serve!
Banana ice cream ideas: - Start with frozen bananas - Add a little coconut milk / water / almond milk to get blender moving. Ingredients to add: - raspberry - cocoa, peanut butter - cherries, cocoa - walnuts (& cocoa) - peach/raspberry - blueberry - blueberry/blackberry/raspberry/strawberry - strawberry/pineapple - fresh strawberries, some vanilla, and some honey nut peanuts - cocoa - blueberry, spinach and ground flaxseed - pineapple - pineapple / blueberry
This is THE best dessert ever. I was skeptical, but the consistency really was just like frozen yogurt. I used frozen bananas, a few strawberries or blueberries, and 10% cream. Takes up to 5 min. in a food processor - don't overdo the liquid.
