NYC Book Launch Party "UX Strategy" on July 20th, 2015!
These are the crowdsourced photos from the NYC launch party for Jaime Levy's O'Reilly Media book "UX Strategy: How to Devise Innovative Digital Products that People Want."
Big thanks to Anders Ramsey who runs the NYC Agile Experience Design meetup group for making the event run perfectly and for Pivotal Labs for hosting it! http://www.meetup.com/Agile-Experience-Design/
Applied ethnography is using ethnographic approaches such as observing and describing a group/culture, specific behavior, values, ritual, etc. to understand and inform stakeholders, design products, services, systems, and organizations. Ethnographic methods are often idealistic and require large budgets and time. But if we are devising products in a fast-paced competitive world, we need to optimize how we do "field studies" and make the learnings more measurable.
