POLK COUNTY TRAVEL Writer/Associate Director of fundraising documentary "Alexander's Ford, " to save a revolutionary war site. (Hired by Synergy Point). Alexander's Ford in Polk County NC along the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail played a very important role in our nation's history and fight for independence. The site is to become a national park and nature preserve. This short film has been used in the Polk County School system as an educational piece.
HARRAH'S GRAND REOPENING To help out a good friend who was handling their p.r. at the time, I was invited as a blogger to film the re-grand opening. I shot the video, edited it, created two clips, one a long version the other just a "taste" and give it to her for Facebook and Twitter. And, had a great lunch and time!
BUTTER BUDS Create a media kit to pique the interest of the broadcast media and get the product some exposure; collaborated with author of "Back Country Kitchen" that features product in her book; directed media campaign with intern. (Gail Becker Associates of Florida). Resulted in est. 2.1million potential views in five markets: Minneapolis, Tampa, Phoenix, Atlanta and Greenville SC for under $50,000.

Hermes Award for poster design (Off-Broadway) From the producer: "His Award winning art direction for the poster design was an intricate part of the ad campaign and its use in branding the project. The website which he designed was a key selling point for the show. His work is excellent and is always delivered in a timely manner. He was a key element in my business."
CANCER SUPPORT FOUNDATION Worked with creative director copywriting for the Cancer Support Foundation's brochure. Created the positioning statement "We Can Change the Rules about Cancer" when I learned their goal, to lead legislation being presented to "change the rules" about unemployment benefits for cancer patients in Maryland. Double entredre is that cancer isn't always a death sentence. Became theme for campaign, including web site and content. Platinum Hermes 2012
