The Castle is the only real, full-sized castle in North America, built in the 1910s. The construction of this Castle cost a staggering $3.5 million of 1910s dollars and was clearly one of the largest undertakings in real estate of its time. Once a private residence of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, it has since become the property of the city of Toronto, but could return to private hands more than a hundred years later.
