8" x 8" framed mosaic wall art, created using brick, tile, terracotta, metal medallion, glass smalti, glass microspheres, and tinted mortar.
I finally got this 8" x 8" mosaic framed and wired! (Franken Frames is great!). I really enjoyed making this using marble, ceramic tile, recycled mortar, glass smalti, stained glass, picassiette, and fused (by me) glass cabochons. It is called "Relief," because it reminds me of a relief map, and also because relief is what a woman may feel when she sees red spotting on her clothes, and especially now in the U.S., since the reversal of Roe v. Wade. 9" x 9" Available.
