Royal Pavilion Brighton. Originally a modest lodging house for Prince Regent (George IV), the building was transformed into the Marine Pavilion in 1787 by Henry Holland. In 1815, the famous regency architect John Nash began transforming the Pavilion into the oriental style Royal Pavilion we know today.
