Etched copper has been folded to form this prayer pendant. Prayer Package pendants are based on the Tibetan prayer wheel. The word "Joy" is stamped inside the pendant and is activated with each breath much like spinning the wheel sends out the prayers. A piece of vintage tin in a leaf pattern adorns the front of the pendant. The piece is wire wrapped together and hangs from a black 4mm leather cord. You will decide the length of the cord.
A flat turquoise bead dangles in front of a piece of etched German silver. The German silver element is three quarters of an inch across or about the size of a nickel. Copper crescent moons made from bench scraps dangle from the bottom of faceted carnelian beads. The beads are multicolored from a light orange to a brownish color. The cuff has two different textures with a hammered texture on one side and a cloth like pattern on the other. Fold forming is a very organic process where the natural tendencies of the metal and the transforming nature of fire are used to form the jewelry.
Oregon beach rocks have been gathered, stacked and drilled into a rock cairn pendant. German silver bench scraps are added to the cairn as well. The stones are drilled the way they naturally stack. The stones can be turned on the copper head pin so this pendant could also be used as a contemplative device.
Tribal fold form pendant is made by heating and hammering German silver until it turns upon itself into a cocoon like shape. This pendant has a turquoise nugget that swings inside the piece.
