Ancient grains are the hot new thing. I'm especially fond of freekeh, the roasted green wheat from the Middle East. Quinoa is getting lots of praise (and it's great), but farro may be the new quinoa. Bulgur, wheat berries...I love all these grains. So easy to prepare, so versatile and nutritious.
