I finally picked up the book a couple of years after I saw the movie. The movie is great, but the book is (as often is true) better. I especially prefer the character of Kay in the book. It makes more sense than how the movie portrays her.

I'm reading it right now for class. I thought I would hate it (and there are parts that I admit are difficult for me) but it's very, very good.

These books are dense. I had to read each one through at least twice in order to "get" everything. The last one (Fortress of Ice) was kind of disappointing, though.

First trilogy is great - very sexy and full of political intrigue. Second trilogy is also very good. The third trilogy is where is all goes wrong. Stick with the first six books.

It's out of print, but if you can find a copy, it's worth picking up. A good fantasy read.

I confess that as the initial trilogy went on (Jovah's Angel, The Alleluia Files), I got disappointed with where it went, but I really loved Archangel, and I enjoy the later books in the series as well (Angelica, Angel Seeker)

Not one of the books he's "known" for, but I enjoy this story of three friends barnstorming around America in the 1960s.

The only zombie book I like, because it's not really about zombies.

I came across this book at my Grandma's house. It's one of those happy accidents. Well written story, engaging characters, and a lot of musical stuff thrown in.

I too was obsessed with the Little House books. I still am, to a certain extent. I loved reading about someone who followed her obsession into a journey of self-discovery.

This is one of those books that I can only re-read every so often, because it makes me so angry and sad. Still a wonderful read.

The series gets pretty weird as it goes on, but the first book is a solid story.

Even though Persuasion is my favorite story, Elizabeth Bennett is my favorite character.
