The circular design that emerges on this scrappy quilt is created by the pairing of two blocks: 54-40 or Fight and Corn and Beans. It looks complex, but each unit only requires triangles and squares. Finished quilt size: 68" x 92"

no pattern. I used 7 inch muslin squares to sew my strips onto. Each square is made up of 4 light colored strips, 4 dark colored strips and 8 half light/half dark strips. Random widths. Final quilt top is 9 of these blocks.
My Bright Scrappy Patchwork Quilt. Made with a strip of 3 inch black and white scraps on the diagonal, followed by 1 1/2 inch black strip flipped on each side. I then added varying sizes (1/2 inch - 2 inch) bright strips. The block was 10 inches finished. #Strippy quilts, #scrappy quilts. Marie Larsen Caloundra Qld Australia.
