Cameron Falls at the Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta Canada - Waterfalls are normally an astounding sight for tourists, but the Cameron Falls turns red when heavy rains occur. Argolite, the red-colored sediment, causes the water to turn red. It is recommended to visit Cameron Falls during the rainy season to get a lucky view of the fall's natural wonder.

Dominica is a volcanic island blanketed in untamed rainforests. It received 78,000 visitors in 2013. According to Lonely Planet, the island has been spared mass tourism in part because there are no direct international flights there and there aren't many beaches or flashy resorts. THE PERITO-MORENO GLACIER, ARGENTINA Nowhere in the world can one observe the calving of a glacier better than at the front of Perito Moreno, which creeps from the Andes down to Lago Argentino (Argentine Lake). Its huge ice tongue stretches almost to the lake peninsula, from which one has a panoramic view of the entire front of the glacier.

The Gruta do Labirinto (the Labyrinthic Grotto) and it's mysterious wishing well! This 27 meter deep well resembles an inverted tower. Depending on the direction you choose, either a journey down into the depths of the earth, or a climb out of the darkness into the light awaits.

Photo ~ Juan Cuello, notes: Near the village of Kandersteg in the Bernese, begins one of the most beautiful hikes I've done in Switzerland, and could say that in all my life. After a demanding first 2 kms in which you gain altitude quickly, you access an alpine meadow full of beautiful flowers and surrounded by woods and snowy mountains. Oeschinensee is not seen, yet remains hidden behind fir trees. After a bit, you begin to see the turquoise blue waters, and suddenly you get there... paradise.

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Maluti Mountains of the north-eastern Free State lies the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The park derives its name from the brilliant shades of gold cast by the sun on the park's sandstone cliffs, especially the imposing Brandwag rock, keeping vigil over the main rest camp.

The Fairy Ring Located on a level terrace on the southeastern slopes of Sleive Gullion is a well-preserved court tomb known as Ballymacdermot Cairn. From this site panoramic views over the plain of Meigh, Slieve Gullion and the ring dyke hills to the south can be enjoyed, a phenomenon that surely did not escape the early farming communities who built it over 6,000 years ago.
