Short vowels game: gumball sorting activity + 5 recording sheets
This resource pack is a great tool for students to identify #short #vowel #sounds in simple #cvc words! Included are 5 gumball machine sorting mats, 30 #gumballs with picture and 5 #recording sheets, 1 for each short #vowel sound (a, e, i, o, u). Instructions: Shuffle all gumballs and place them on a table, together with the sorting mats. Students name the picture depicted on each gumball and then place each gumball onto the gumball machine with the corresponding short vowel sound.

We started our day with a story about Sneaky E and making some cute little puppets, complete with masks and mustaches!
