Great diagram! This is even better when you mix Italian bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and mix in olive oil to make a bread crumb paste. Stuff the bread crumb mixture into the heart of the artichoke and between the leaves. Cook as directed, eat as directed but also enjoy the satisfying garlicky crunch of the bread crumbs :)

My **FAVORITE** summer treat! Zesty Lime, Shrimp & Avocado Salad perfect for a hot evening. I now have fresh cilantro to add to mine and I omit the onion (sometimes). Yummy!

Tomato-Basil & Spinach Risotto - made it tonight. The flavor was amazing! I added extra garlic, tomato and cheese. The problem was timing and liquid: it needed more of both than the recipe said. Also, I should have cooked the rice in the butter until translucent before adding liquid. Total time is probably 50 min or so. Will definitely make again now that I know how to do it right.
