"You are Perfect just the way you are. Dont you ever let anyone tell you, you are not. From our tween years we look at the girls on the covers of magazines, we see the outfits on pinterest, we see the photo shopped photos of what we are "supposed to be." You dont need to be skinny, toned, and tanned- you just need to be you. Thats all - just you! Because you know what? You are unique. " | Just Jess
This is a reply to those posts that say things like “real women have curves!” etc. Not having curves doesn’t make you any less of a real woman. Note: I am not trying to imply that HAVING curves makes you less of a real woman either… I’m focusing on messages that I’ve seen on Tumblr that put down skinny girls, such as one that I saw that said “Men like meat on their girls, bones are for dogs” (something along those lines). I think “real women have curves” is bet
I woke up one day and realized that I was what I hated more than anything else on this planet. I was the problem and that the solution was to overcome me. I struggle every day but I'm closer than I was one day ago.
We DO need breaks to replenish our soul. I know... that sounds corny. But when we are ill, when others think we are "taking a break" we are really at the doctor's office or in bed because we can... not... move. Not because our soul is resting. I find more and more that I need QUIET.
