Front Yard Landscaping, Walkway, and Fencing Ideas

I have to landscape the front yard of my rancher... I hope to find ideas that aren't necessarily like the same ol' same ol'. Will also be adding a fence to the back yard, and some of it will have to be of a "pretty kind" as it will be seen. The rest will be of a "cheap" kind lol (it will be inside a lot of weedy growth) - just to keep the dog from running from the yard - chasing cats and other critters while she's out there with me!

Redbud My neighbors across the street from me have a cute little pale yellow bungalow home with a redbud behind it in the backyard that provides a halo of mauve blooms that frame the house in the spring. So picturesque.

Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' This is a very hardy hydrangea that starts out green, turns white and then goes back to green. Cut it back to the ground in late fall for the largest flowers the next year.
