Go Ask Alice by Anonymous. I read this my freshman year of high school and can honestly say it helped me find my true self. Pretty damn depressing, but worth reading. Definitely puts life in perspective.

Go Ask Alice is a diary of a girl dealing with a lot of problems in high school. She deals with depression, boyfriends, running away, family issues, and drugs. The sad thing is many teens go through this experience all the time. Reading this book makes you want to pay more attention to the people around you.
Originally sold as the real diary of an actual teenager, Go Ask Alice is the fictional memoir of a 15-year-old girl whose life is dominated by her drug problems, following her experiences from her indoctrination into the world of drugs to just before her death from an overdose.
Go Ask Alice is a diary of a girl dealing with a lot of problems in high school. She deals with depression, boyfriends, running away, family issues, and drugs. When I was 12 my mother made me read this! Made me look st people differently and see the world in a different light
Go Ask Alice by AnonymousThis anonymously-penned novel (although some speculate these are actual diary entries from a girl named Alice) is like Scared Straight in book-form. Written in harrowing first-person detail about a teenage girl's plummet into drug addiction, this frightening read has stuck with young adults for a long time.
Go Ask Alice is the diary by an anonymous, 15 year old girl who goes to her friends party one night, & tries LSD (Acid) & gets hooked on many different drugs, & sends herself spiraling down a dangerous hill of drugs, & this said "hill" doesnt just reap her of her youth, but, ultimately, her life..! Still one of the best books Ive ever read! :D A must read for teens & adults
Go Ask Alice- deeply disturbing, a must read. The story of how a young girl is "tricked" into being a drug addict. Scary to read as an adult, as a mom, to imagine just how easily this could happen to any young girl who makes a few bad decisions.
Go Ask Alice- Anonymous. Writen in the form of a diary, this is told to be the real journal of a teenage girls serious fall into drugs.
go ask alice.. One of my very favorite books :)
