BORZUI : Photo
Still waiting on a film like Bioshock or something similar that captures something like this illustration. But it should be a story that has nothing to do with 'Atlantis'. Anyway, this piece has a great title but I'd call it "As Above, So Below"; as it is, it's called "Our Ends Are Beginnings" by ParadisiacPicture.

I think it's rad to show people actually doing shit and getting dirty with gear. You'll notice I really dislike product photography that feels staged.

Firefly squids live in Toyama Bay, Japan and illuminate a blue glow produced by moonlight that has been captured in their outer membranes...I'm pretty sure I've seen either these squid or a jelly fish that glows blue in the Bahamas too.
glowing jellyfish in Toyama, Japan; the blue lights on the sea coast are glowing firefly squid
THE BLUE LIGHTS ON THE SEA COAST ARE GLOWING FIREFLY SQUID ON THE BEACH OF TOYAMA, JAPAN. EACH TENACLE HAS A ORGAN CALLED A PHOTOPHORE, WHICH PRODUCES LIGHT. WHEN FLASHED THESE LIGHTS ATTRACT SMALL FISH, ON WHICH THE SQUID CAN FEED. WOW, MUST BE AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SIGHT......:)
The glowing firefly squid are pushed to the shore's edge by the current while spawning in the bay of Toyama, Japan... Everyone who really knows me also knows how I feel about jellyfish! Ah

Underwater sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor - over time coral reefs grow on the scaffolding provided by his sculptures.
Artist Jason de Caires Taylor creates life-size cement sculptures of people and submerges them into the waters of South America. As time passes the sculptures become part of the underwater landscape and slowly become artificial reefs ripe with marine life.

Cappuccino Coast at Yamba, New South Wales,Australia Cappuccino Coast is a rare natural phenomenon that turns the ocean swells into thick sea foam. The cappuccino-like foam is created by decomposed underwater creatures and dead plants. When agitated by powerful currents they form bubbles in the water. The cappuccino-like foam is then brought to shores by strong storms. ปรากฏการณ์ธรรมชาติ ทะเลโฟม ( Whipping... Expand this post »
✶Cappuccino Coast foam swallowed an entire beach and half the nearby buildings in a freak of nature in New South Wales, AUSTRALIA. 27 Aug 2007. It stretched for 30 miles in a phenomenon not seen at the beach for more than three decades. Scientists explain that the foam is created by impurities in the ocean, such as salts, chemicals, dead plants, decomposed fish and excretions from seaweed. All are churned up together by powerful currents which cause the water to form bubbles✶
