Country Fair Fried Dough 2 cups Flour 2 t baking powder 3/4 t salt Work in 2 T cold unsalted butter, in 1/2″ cubes, using a pastry blender, your fingers, or a mixer. Stir in 3/4 cup lukewarm water, and mix to make a soft dough. Let sit 15 min. Divide into 8 balls and flatten fry in peanut oil till brown flipping once. Serve with honey, powdered sugar or fruit topping.
