Next time we go to the forest I am going to have the kids do this to a fallen tree branch...Giant Colored Penciles in the forest by Jonna Pohjalainen
Finnish artist Jonna Pohjalainen set up this huge beautiful environmental art piece titled “Colour Pencils“, which display color pencils in their wild habitats of Latvian fields and forests. She uses the rough texture and unpredictable forms of aspen tree trunks as the base of the color pencils’ shape, and then tops it off with a brightly pigmented colored pencil tip that looks like it has been hand-sharpened.
Giant colored pencil sculptures - Imagine coming across Jonna Phojalainen’s giant colour pencil sculptures in the middle of a field? The Finnish artist carves the oversized pencils from local aspen trunks, resulting in cool street art that's also an environmental statement. The mega pencils tower over visitors to the park where they are displayed (Turku - Finland), making them feel like they’ve wandered into a scene from 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'!

Cloud Lights: First, you need some cotton batting, a paper lantern, and three flameless candles, the type that Glade sells. Pull at the cotton batting until it looks fluffy, light, and cloud-like. Then, hot glue it to the outside of the paper lantern in various places. Make sure it's fluffed to your liking, then light the lights and stick them inside. Hang the lantern wherever you'd like. ohhh man need to incorp. this into a shoot!
