You probably won’t believe me when I say that this Tiger beside me is someone I love. He wasn’t always like that, our tribe has a curse placed on it long ago. It’s a ancient story. The men of our village will turn into Tigers for half the month while the last half of the month they are human. He only see’s me as a friend nothing more until the day this curse is broken. That’s why we are on an adventure together to find a way to break the curse placed on the men of our village.
People ask who I am as I strut down the dirty, cobbled road. Their questions are petty, a waste of my time: Who is she? What is she? What are they? What's that thing coming out of her neck? Fools. They don't know. They know nothing. That "thing" is my whip, my weapon--my infliction of pain and punishment. I am not more than one being--I am me. I am one part my creator's, one part ruthless, and one part me. What am I? I still do not know. But I know one thing: I am danger. And you should fear me.
Eilean Donan Castle
They say it's drafty living in castles. I have to agree. Even ghosts, who feel eternally cold, can feel the wind cutting straight through us. But I am the keeper of this castle, and I must stay here for the rest of eternity. The choices I made during my life bound me to this place. The people I hurt, the horrible things I've done, they play over and over in these walls. I cannot escape my past. No one can. I can only hope that one day Brigid takes mercy on my soul and ends my suffering for good.
hades and persephone 1 by sandara on DeviantArt
When Death met the flower maiden, he knew not what to say. They had not much in common. But still they gazed, and still he lingered. Persephone was puzzled; awed with a hint of fear. Death was magnificent, yet also menacing. She did not understand the presence of this looming shadow, eradicating the flowers he trod on. She herself had a light and quick step, barely touching ground. In the end, it was not enough to outrun him.
Every night I find my gaze straying upwards, a clear view of the night sky sprinkled with stars through my bedroom window. Every night, I become more and more mesmerized. Who knows what lay beyond them, waiting to be discovered. A smile graces my lips as my eyes gently shut, knowing that I will one day be able to explore, to discover, to learn. One day, the stars will embrace me…their long lost friend.
Always Have . Always Will
Rill stood in the snow. The air bit at his skin. His eyes drifted across the white field to the gravestone. Tears pricked his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. He went to the grave. His boots crunched on the snow. The grave was coated in a layer of snow. He brushed it off. “Father,” he said, his voice hoarse. Tears slid from the corners of his eyes. “I miss you.” He closed his eyes and bowed his head. When he looked back up, the name of his father stared back. Rill wiped his eyes and left.
"I want you to take that shot, no hesitations," the general said, poking my collar bone. I nodded jerkily my fear of him keeping my mouth shut, a crooked smile appeared on his mouth as he walked away. A minute later I was lying on my stomach waiting... watching. When the target finally did come into view i was so surprised he showed up i gasped out loud. I quickly shut my mouth and got ready to fire, and just before I pulled the trigger his face turned to me. My eyes widened, it was my brother.
I started archery when I was 9. My mother taught me and she always wanted me to learn to protect myself. She taught me how to fight, use a sword, and the basics of cooking and cleaning. We were always on the run until we came to Everwood. My mother told us that we were safe here. We lived and trained there peacefully until last night. There was banging on the church door where we live. My mother told me 2 go 2 Elkwood Castle & 2 look for a man named Rollo. But I have no idea where Elkwood is.
“Johnny I like you, you know this, but you got to pay up here soon. I can’t keep protecting you. Eventually you got to pay the cash, with interest. My boss is already looking past all the failures, like getting his men snatched by the feds and is simply asking for his payment back with a little bit extra money. Johnny, I mean come on, you can’t get any better than that. Now tell me. Did you bring the money we asked?” *Johnny is still* “It’s been nice knowing you Johnny.” *Cocks gun and shoots.*

She would not allow herself to be traded. No peace treaty could change her mind. She hadn’t started this war, the men did and they ought to pay for it. Leluna’s gaze lingered back towards the castle and her mother and sisters. Ignoring the ache she felt for her family, she allowed her anger to power her legs through the bog towards freedom. Murky water climbed up her dress staining the elegant fabric of her far from utilitarian gown. Without time to spare, the dress would have to do, for now.
The dream began the same each time. A lone figure stood before me. Though his face was hidden in a deep hood, a deep red glow seemed to emanate from within it. This was the point where I usually woke up, but for some reason, tonight was different. My feet continued toward the figure, while my mind screamed in silence. As I finally reached the figure, he lowered his hood, releasing a flock of crows that flew directly at me. I was still screaming when I finally awoke.
"Please stay with me," I begged him, tears rolled down my face. I kept my hands together over his heart as I struggled to use the vast amount of power needed to heal him. A second later I was jerked away, my eyes flew open and I screamed, "No! He'll die! Please let me help him!" I looked up as a town solider laughed softly and dragged me away. Fury slowly replaced my despair; with a flick of my wrist, the soldier fell to the ground. I ran to resume my position, but it was too late, he was gone.
Every night I have the same dream, each night I would dream of a deep lake. I would be standing at the edge of the bridge and looking into the waters. Down below I would see something swimming. Not knowing what else I could do I jump into the lake. Everything in the lake lit up and sparkled and then he appears. A beautiful boy wearing only a necklace, the rest of him was naked but he had fins like a mermaid from his waist down. He came towards me and then kisses me on the lips, then I wake up.
The book road
I take a deep breath as I walk the familiar path to my personal tree. Under its green leaves, I can lose myself in a new world. My toes sink into the grass as my excitement blossoms. My footsteps lead my further into a new world; a world where a book can only take me, a world where, for once in my life, I feel at peace.
This is where the last clue lead us. A rocky overgrown cliff with a entrance to a dark cave where the lost treasure of Futama is. The Futama legend says that there is a a elixir that can cure all the diseases in the world. But the other Butana legend says that elixir is a poison that kills everything its path. My brother & I have come from a long journey to find this elixir and destroy it. But we do not know how to destroy it and there are others who want to use the elixir for better or worse.
He raised his shield. His heels brushed the cliff edge. The man before him raised a long bow. An arrow was notched on the end. He tried to ignore the sting from a previous arrow wound in his waist. The thin rod still stuck into his skin. He fought for freedom. The man let the arrow fly. It slammed into his shield. The warrior lost his balance, his shield arm faltering. The big man released two more arrows in a quick motion. They hit the warrior in the chest. He fell back, off the cliff.

“And this is all mine?” Sara asked her voice soft with awe. Her small fingers ran over every inch of the firm, smooth leather. Behind her Martin chuckled, his old voice wheezing in his chest always threatening to erupt in a fit of coughs. “It is if you want it, child.” Sara turned, keeping her hand on the saddle as if she were afraid it’d disappear otherwise. “But I know nothin’ bout horses.” Martin nodded. “Ye’ll learn. I’ll teach you. The horses will teach you if yer willing to listen to’em.”
“Hmm... That is some fantastic animation. It looks almost as real as when I have the screen set on ‘Actual View’ setting. I wonder what broadcast company is distributing this. Hey mom! What channel did you leave my room on after you cleaned it? Huh?” *Walks to her door and yells* “What did you say? Actual View? No way mom. I said no way! Well come up here and tell me if that looks like Actual View. *Mother walks through door and looks towards the window. Her jaw drops.* “You did... OH MY GOD!”
Mermaids arent as they seem by medieval-vampire121 on DeviantArt
I don’t know his name. I only know that he is a blonde god. I can't stop watching him every time he comes to the beach with a hopeless longing. He’s a free mortal, while I’m bound to the ocean. Maybe he could free me. I can't get the rumor about redemption out of my mind. There are many different versions but the main point is that getting a mortal to fall in love with you breaks the curse of the sea. This guy could never feel anything for a freak like me, right?
Forgotten tale by sajlent on DeviantArt
Brielle grabbed the tunnel’s wall. She swung around the edge and looked up into the sky. Her heart was heavy, but she began to sing. A bird stepped out forest’s shadows. Its feathers fluttered as its stick-thin legs bent to move its body. She stared at the bird; her blue eyes met its golden ones. The soft melody coming from her lips beckoned the bird. Her hand reached out. Her fingers brushed the bird’s beak. It began to glow with silver light. Then, a man stood where the bird had, her prince.
The full-moon hung in the sky like an overripe silver fruit, magic permeating the air like a thick perfume and stroking my skin like the softest, most decadent fur. It was a quarter past midnight and as the humans slept, the creatures of myths rose. Yet what should’ve been a perfect night was marred by a shadow of unease, a vague sense of foreboding. My Gift wasn’t one of prophecy, but I knew better than to ignore my premonitions. Something was going to happen tonight. I just didn’t know what.
Millie was defeated as she slid down the tree until she reached the forest floor. Wishing the world would swallow her whole. Callum would come without being asked. Especially now with the whispers of her marriage. She knew he would be angry and hoped she could convince him to move on. She watched as he made his way through the trees to her. Until she could stand it no longer and ran the rest of the way to him. Grabbing her in tight hold to afraid to let go.Whispering “run away with me,millie."
We stand in silence on the roof of the warehouse as we watch the rest of the city crumble and unfurl beneath us. He gives my hand a reassuring squeeze and I glance over at him. I take a deep breath and sigh, thinking over what we are about to do. I don't know if it's worth it, but I love him, so we will do this together. We both take one last glimpse of each other and our beloved city and then we jump.
