progressive strength training counteracts muscular atrophy in old age. Focus on different muscular groups each session. For example monday legs, tuesday shoulder, wednesday arms. Just make sure you are giving 48 hours rest after training a major muscle group. The exception of course if your doing body weight like: sits ups, planks, push ups, squats, pull ups. Those I believe are good everyday ;)
