Snowball viburnum, absolutely stunning.... They are stunning and I had five of these along my driveway at the previous property ~ withstood extreme heat, frost in winter and the occasional dusting of snow! AJ
One of my favorite fall garden plants is the showy Clematis paniculata(C. terniflora). Not only does this beauty cover my old fence boards with hundreds of star shaped white blossoms, it also fills the late summer air with a sweet fragrance.
Phlox (blue creeping). I simply adore phlox, and have used some of it for "my" sidewalk garden--people are trying to keep their dogs from using the sidewalk garden, which is nice!) AIM to plant phlox in a container, and have it melt over the side. :) Such a beautiful creeper.
Aubrieta - low, spreading plant, hardy, evergreen and perennial, with small violet, pink or white flowers, and inhabits rocks and banks. It prefers light, well-drained soil, is tolerant of a wide pH range, and can grow in partial shade or full sun.
