The Bishnois are a community in India recognized for their beliefs of absolute respect for nature. They have been known to chase away and even beat up poachers if they find them hunting animals close to their land. All their resources, including the food they grow self-sufficiently, is shared with neighboring wildlife. They believe in providing protection to all life forms, as shown in this picture in which a Bishnoi woman nurses an orphaned chinkara alongside her own baby. Absolute harmony.
