الزليج‎ Zelij

Zelij is a form of tile mosaic. Typically there is a central star shape, with the geometry of the rays forming a regular grid. The geometry can be orthagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, and (more rarely) pentagonal (usually with decagons). I've included grilles and geometric designs with a zelij feel to them.
