Crystite canister for Red-5's "Firefall" bus. Built by Steve Wang's Biomorphs. I animated the crystal using an EFX-TEK HC-8+ controller (with custom programming, of course).

Grommash display for Blizzard Entertainment built by Alliance Studio. Uses three EFX-TEK HC-8+ controllers for lighting. Most of the programming is very subtle. The pools of blood are wonderfully-sculpted with bubbles; I wrote code to create a slow-moving, random wave pattern that suggests subsurface movement.

Grommash Hellscream statue created for Blizzard 2014 Finished life size statue

First project I did for Steve Wang: Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft (Blizzard). This was very simple, just pulsating eyes. I used an EFX-TEK Prop-SX controller (overkill for what we did), just in case Steve decided to add more features.

Annie and Tibbers display built by Alliance Studio for Riot Games -- debuted at PAX West 2014. Lighting animation is done using an EFX-TEK HC-8+ controller as a custom DMX master. The display uses 13 DMX "bricks" to control nearly 500 high-intensity LEDs. The multi-processor Propeller chip on the HC-8+ gave me discrete control over each aspect of the animation (each tree, several sections of "fire", Annies burning palm, etc.).

Annie and Tibbers from "League of Legends." Designed and built by Steve Wang's team at Alliance Studio. Uses an EFX-TEK controller as a DMX master, sending animation data to DMX slaves located in various parts of the display.

Colossal Tracer, Pharah, and Gengi figures from "Overwatch." Build by Alliance Studio. Enclosures built by EGADs in Las Vegas. My job was character lighting and audio control. Each of the characters has an EFX-TEK HC-8+ controller for lighting and an AP-16+ for sound. Simple stuff, but the crowds loved them.

Me with the Annie & Tibbers display at the new Riot HQ in Santa Monica. Display built by Alliance Studio, electronics and programming by me. Controller is the EFX-TEK HC-8+ as a DMX master to several DMX "bricks" that ran the LEDs.
